Hip Resurfacing
Hip Resurfacing
Total hip replacement is a well established operative procedure for Osteoarthritis of the hip joint. It has been considered as excellent operation for elderly patients. Older patients are usually low demand and are able to manage with less range of movement. For elderly patients this procedure is proved to be very beneficial, and help them to be pain free and mobile.
Younger patients may develop osteoarthritis prematurely either because of trauma or some other reasons. These patients are potentially high demand and need more range of movement after surgery. Some of them would like to take part in certain sports. This group of young patients who suffer from arthritis of hips can be helped by HIP RESURFACING.
